Incoterms®
The Incoterms® rules are a set of internationally accepted commercial terms that are used in distribution documents when entering into a contract. Incoterms® rules specify the respective responsibilities and obligations of the buyer and seller regarding the transportation of goods (modes, insurance, location for the risk transfer) and the allocation of costs.
Use the Incoterms page to add and amend Incoterms® rules when necessary.
The Incoterms® rules have quite complex definitions that are regularly refined and updated. It is recommended that you refer to the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) website for the latest specifications.
