Location mass creation

Use this page to create multiple locations at once with the same characteristics: site, type, zone and location sequence number.

Prerequisites

Create multiple locations

  1. Select the characteristics for the locations:

    • Site

    • Type

    • Zone

    • Location sequence number

      The Required combinations field displays the maximum number of locations you can create with the selected location sequence number. You can enter a smaller number in this field or leave the number displayed as it is.

      To avoid long processing times, make sure the number of required combinations is less than 10,000.

  2. Select Generate.

    The generated locations display in the grid.

  3. Select Create.

  4. Go to the Location page to display the new location records.

Edit or delete locations

In this page, you can only edit or delete a generated location until you select Create. To edit or delete it after that, you need to go to the Location page.

Make changes as needed, then Create or select Delete from the Locations grid.
